On November 18, 2025, part of our Lentewenc team took part in a professional first aid training. The goal of the training was not only to meet health and safety requirements but, above all, to enhance employees’ real competencies in responding to situations that pose a threat to health or life. The training was conducted by an experienced instructor from TBF.
Practical knowledge that saves lives
The training was delivered by an experienced instructor from TBF, a company specializing in comprehensive first aid courses for businesses and institutions. The program combined solid theoretical foundations with a large dose of practical exercises, allowing participants to practice real-life health and life-threatening scenarios.
During the training, participants reviewed the most important principles of providing first aid, including assessing the scene, performing an initial assessment of the victim’s condition, calling emergency services, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and using an automated external defibrillator (AED). The classes were primarily practical in nature.
A novelty that distinguished this training was the opportunity to test the acquired knowledge in short instructional scenarios using Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Thanks to VR goggles, participants were transported into simulated crisis situations where they had to make decisions and provide first aid. This solution allowed them to safely practice reactions under time pressure and better consolidate correct action patterns.
Investing in first aid training is part of building a safety culture at Lentewenc. The knowledge and skills gained during the course increase employees’ confidence and have a real impact on the safety of the entire team. This training was another step in the company’s efforts toward responsibility, safety, and a modern approach to developing employee competencies.
